  • History Day project by Dulce Gonzales, Bacilio Ortiz and Eduardo Sanchez placed 2nd at Minnesota State History Day and competed in National History Day held in Washington, D.C.
  • Social Studies teachers Tamie Fritz, Tom Lachermeier and Collin Quinn were recognized as Minnesota’s Outstanding Senior Division Team at State History Day competition.
  • Roosevelt’s auto program awarded full accreditation by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF)
  • Debate team won two of three events at 2011 Economic Congress
  • Solar-Powered Boat Club repeated as first place winner at the 19th Annual Twin Cities Solar Boat Regatta
  • Roosevelt’s Kaylani Edwards named Star Tribune’s “Athlete of the Week” on February 8, 2011
  • Ebonie Snider honored as Roosevelt’s Athena Award recipient for 2011
  • Boys’ basketball won the 2011 Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Team Academic Section Championship for Class AA, Section 4
